Here we are into the middle of the year already, where does the time go?

We have received information that indicates this is NOT our 10th year as we thought ,based upon the information we had. Council have produced records that tell us we do not turn 10 until NEXT year. So we have ayear to plan even better activities to celebrate.

The committee have decided to run with an afternoon Tea Parfy to be held at the club on the 21st July 2010. Please make a note in your diaries. Flyers will be posted soon giving details, briefly though, it will be a "Bring a Plate" affat with tealcoffee etc supplied, the BBQ will be fired up for any who wish to warm something up and starting about lpm.

The club is ticking over quite well in all areas I think, tutors are busy rewriting lessons, some new keyboards and mice have be bought to replace some of the older stuff we had. The monthly BBQ's seem to be popular still, and the Pick a Box seems to be selling well. You will notice the next one is slightly different with each box being $1 instead of $2, so you get two chances for the same $2 dollars you spent before. The prize money is still the same at $50.New members are joining at a steady rate and staying, and some old members have returned to lessons after a time away.

Remember any ideas you have for the club PLEASEbe sure to pass them on so that they can at least be considered .
